Malik Rajan

Founder of The Pricing Club

Malik began his career in strategy and management consulting at Oliver Wyman, focusing primarily on Strategic Marketing in both B2B and B2C companies.

After 5 years in consulting, Malik decided to join the Rexel Group - a global leader in B2B distribution of electrical products - where he spent over 6 years. Initially, he was responsible for pricing, customer segmentation, and the strategy of private brands, before establishing a central pricing department as the Group Pricing Director.

In 2017, Malik founded the Pricing Club to network the pricing community of large corporations (starting with 200 contacts, now over 10,000), share best practices across different sectors, and provide advisory support with the help of a network of consultants affiliated with the Club.

When he's not discussing pricing, Malik indulges in his love for being a father, his passion for long-distance running, and wine (which can sometimes be a challenging combination), and expands his Jazz/Funk repertoire on the bass.

Malik holds a degree from ESSEC and has completed the Strategic Marketing program at INSEAD.

He has a strong background in client needs analysis, customizing software solutions, and delivering product demonstrations. Over the past five years, Benjamin has also acquired significant experience managing RFP responses and project management. His ability to simplify complex technical concepts ensures effective communication with both clients and prospects, in helping them find the best-fit solutions.
